This goes hand in hand with the first benefit of this TV. So, if you have got a very bright window and you suffer a lot of reflections then this is the TV for you. Most other TVs would wash out and you would see nothing. This smart TV has the best I have seen in anti-reflective technology to date.
Upscaling
I am going to be straight up honest with you; when I unboxed this TV, I was not expecting a lot when it comes to the upscaling. This is the first 8k TV I have ever tested, and I thought it was going to look hazy unless it was displaying a proper 8k footage. But in all fairness, it does a great job even with lower quality footage. So, with 1080p stuff, it still does a really good job.
Pros
- The Q800T has the smartest processor ever, which utilizes AI technology to explore the full power of 8K. This gives you an amazing viewer experience.
- Realistic crisp sound from six in-built speakers. You will not miss any sound.
- The design of the smart TV allows you to mount it on a wall and it comes with a detachable power cable that most smart TVs do not have.
Cons
- Despite the Samsung Q800T smart TV having good features, it still has its drawbacks.
- Even though the Samsung QLED can deliver saturated colors, the contrast ratio is not as good as the one in their OLED counterparts. Samsung has applied advanced dimming technology to provide deeper black levels, but it is not like an inactive OLED pixel.
- Slow response time. This is probably not Samsung’s strongest suite. Since it is still an LCD panel, turning off and on of pixels requires more time as compared to OLED. You might notice blurs during fast scenes.
- Expensive. QLEDs are the most expensive to manufacture but in exchange for the costly price, you get vibrant colors and crisp sound.

- Other brands have QLEDS too, but Samsung puts a little bit of seasoning to its QLED panels and they have an improved contrast ratio. Simply put, it is the most successful QLED in history.
- The design. I think the design is the best you are going to get for a TV like this. It has a slim bezel around it. In fact, it has an unbelievably thin and stylish frame.
- Two remote controls. I think this is amazing. One remote is the basic one with plenty of buttons for all functions and a few shortcuts. The other is a posher version and a little stylish (show picture). It has a microphone for voice commands.
- It has the Apple TV app. Best apps you can get for streaming movies and a wide range of content TV supports Apple Airplay.
